ENTERPRISES SENDING VIETNAMESE WORKERS ABROAD MUST MAKE A DEPOSIT OF VND 2 BILLION
On December 10, 2021, the Government issues Decree No. 112/2021/ND-CP detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Vietnamese Guest Workers.
Accordingly, an enterprise providing the service of sending Vietnamese workers aboard as guest workers shall deposit VND 2,000,000,000 (two billion Vietnam dong) at a bank, a foreign bank branch legally established and licensed to operate in Vietnam.
Besides, enterprises assigning branches to provide the service of sending Vietnamese workers abroad as guest workers must deposit another amount of VND 500,000,000 (five hundred million Vietnam dong) for each assigned branch.
Also in accordance with this Decree, an enterprise sending Vietnamese workers abroad for occupational knowledge and skill training or improvement shall make the deposit at a bank, foreign bank branch legally established and licensed to operate in Vietnam. The deposit level is equal to 10% of an economy-class air ticket from the workplace to Vietnam based on the number of workers going to work abroad in the contract of accepting interns.
This Decree takes effect on January 01, 2022.
