According to the Decree No. 104/2014/ND-CP dated November 14, 2014 of the Government on the land price bracket, from December 29, 2014, the land price bracket ranges from VND 40,000/m2 to VND 162 million/m2; Of which, the highest price – VND 162 million/m2 shall be applied for the Red River delta region, the southeastern  region  comprising central provinces such as Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Ho Chi Minh city, Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau…; the lowest price 40,000 dong/m2 shall be applied for the north central region, comprising Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue provinces.

For price bracket of commercial and service land in urban areas, it ranges from VND 32,000/m2 to VND 129.6 million/m2. Specifically, land price bracket in special urban areas type I, type II and type II at the Red river delta region is from VND 1.2 million to VND 129.6 million/m2; VND 800.000/m2 to VND 60.8 million/ m2; VND 640,000/m2 to VND 40 million/ m2 and from VND 320,000/m2 to VND 32 million/m2.

For land price in rural areas, the land price bracket shall be determined in each communes and economic regions. Accordingly, for the Red river delta region, the maximum price bracket in midlands and mountainous areas is VND 29 million/m2, VND 15 million/m2 and VND 09 million/ m2 respectively; for communes in the southeastern region, land price bracket is VND 18 million/m2, VND 12 million/m2 and VND 9 million/m2…

This Decree takes effect on December 29, 2014.
